Changes in FDIC Deposit Insurance Coverage
On 10-3-08, FDIC deposit insurance temporarily increased from $100,000 to $250,000 per depositor through 12/31/09. On May 20, 2009, FDIC extended the date to December 31, 2013.
On 1/1/14, the standard insurance amount will return to $100,000 per depositor for all account categories except for IRAs and certain retirement accounts which will remain at $250,000 per depositor. Please ask us if you have any questions or concerns.

CSB State Bank, in Posey County, Indiana, wants to thank you for visiting our website. Our goal is to put information about our services right at your fingertips. You can learn more about our products and services such as Checking, Savings, Home Loans, Business Banking, Commercial Loans, and conduct your on line banking transactions where and when it is convenient.
CSB State Bank is a small locally owned bank operating four offices in Posey County. At those offices in Cynthiana, Poseyville, St. Philip, and St. Wendel you will be greeted with a smile, usually by someone who knows your name when you walk in the door. If you have borrowing needs our Loan Officers and Board can approve your loan without speaking to someone in Evansville, Cincinnati, or Illinois. Normally, a loan done by CSB will be made more quickly and with less paperwork than you would see at a large bank.
If you are a customer of a large regional bank, we invite you to come in to any of our CSB offices and talk to us about what we can do to meet your banking needs. Over the past few years we have begun providing new services, starting with this website, Visa debit cards, and online banking which are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We now have ATMs at all of our locations and we have become a member of the Alliance One ATM network which allows our CSB Visa Debit Card holders to use over 4,500 ATMs without any fees at all.
